Pyramid View Roof Top

If you’re not staying near Giza like me, here’s a great photo spot recommendation! Even package tours make a stop here, so let me share this spot with you.

When you search for "Giza Pyramid Rooftop," the most famous place is Rooftop 7000. But... I don’t recommend it at all!

First of all, if you’re not a guest at the hotel, you have to pay an entrance fee of 900 EGP (on top of food and drinks). Nope, not worth it. So I just moved to another rooftop nearby.

1️⃣ A 26% Charge is Automatically Added

• 14% tax + 12% service charge = 26% extra on your bill

• Annoying, but this applies to most restaurants around the Giza Pyramids.

• I checked out a few places, and this one had the best view despite the extra charges.

2️⃣ You Can Order Just a Drink & Take Photos

• No need to order a full meal—just grab the cheapest drink and enjoy the view!

• Recommended for the view, but not for dining.

• The drinks were actually decent, and I highly recommend the fresh mango smoothie!

3️⃣ Water is Served but Not Free

• They automatically serve water, but if you drink it, you have to pay for it.

Best Time to Visit? 4:30 - 5:00 PM. There was an Indian couple at the table next to us with a local guide. The guide told them, "Just wait a bit, and you’ll see an amazing view." So we decided to wait too!
